Walt Disney World Begins Refunding Annual Passholders After Monthly Payment Processing Error

Yesterday, Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders that were on the monthly payment plan were charged for four months of payments all at once. That afternoon Disney released a statement that the error was due to a “computer glitch” and refunds would start to be “actively processed.”

Checking in with our WDWNT staffers, it appears that refunds have started to be processed today, allowing everyone a giant sigh of relief.

However, it doesn’t seem that this has occurred for everyone and a couple of members on staff even had the payments taken out of their accounts today as opposed to yesterday.

The landing site for Annual Passholders still lists the following information regarding options for Passholders on the monthly payment plan:

We also observed many Guests lined up outside the Welcome Center Guest Relations today during a trip to Disney Springs, watching as they were turned away as Guests were told nothing could be done at that location.

We’ll continue to update this post with more information as it arises. Annual Passholders in need of assistance should contact V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277.

  1. So they charged me yesterday for the 4 months and then charged me again today. Over $1200 all at once. :( I hope they sort this out soon…
