Changing the names of channels/accounts is an ongoing, big request — and not just on YouTube. Platforms like the PlayStation Network finally allowed for name changes in 2018 for the first time since its launch in 2006. Twitch also allows for username changes every 60 days. While a streamer's channel URL will not redirect to the new name, Partners will not have to worry about their revenue being impacted or their old name being used by someone else. Have a tip for us?
