The Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Clippers duke it out at the STAPLES Center on Saturday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies will be looking to stay hot after blowing past the Cavaliers in a 132-121 home win on Wednesday night. Ja Morant led the team with 37 points, six rebounds and six assists on 17 of 29 shooting, Desmond Bane added 22 points while De’Anthony Melton chipped in with 20 points on eight of 14 shooting. As a team, the Grizzlies shot a healthy 53 percent from the field and 14 of 33 from the 3-point line as they took control of the game with 41 points in the second quarter, before pouring in another 38 points in the fourth quarter to pull away and win easily in the end. Morant looked to be in midseason form but the Grizzlies will be looking for more from Jaren Jackson Jr. who finished with just 13 points on three of 12 shooting in his first game back from a lengthy layoff.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers are coming into this one looking to bounce back after falling just short to the Warriors in a 115-113 road loss on Thursday. Paul George led the team with 29 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, Eric Bledsoe added 22 points on 10 of 16 shooting while Ivica Zubac chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Clippers shot 44 percent from the field and 14 of 40 from the 3-point line as they poured in 40 points in the second quarter to rally back from an early 19-point deficit to lead by as many as eight points in the fourth quarter, only to allow the Warriors’ Stephen Curry to cap off a 45-point performance with free throws down the stretch.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 0-4 ATS in their last four games as an underdog, 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a win of more than 10 points and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a win. The Clippers are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games as a favorite.

Head to head, the under is 4-0 in the last four meetings overall and the Grizzlies are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Los Angeles.

The Clippers will be eager to grab their first win of the season after falling to the Warriors in a narrow loss on Thursday, while the Grizzlies will be aiming for a second straight win after pouring in 132 points in a win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday. The Clippers will take plenty of confidence from their near comeback win over the Warriors, but they found themselves in a deep hole early following a slow start and it could cost them again if they allow this young Grizzlies team to hit the ground running. Morant looked fantastic on Wednesday and I think he’s going to be the difference as the Grizzlies pull off the minor upset on the road.
