The Vancouver Canucks announced that they have signed defenceman Jack Rathbone to a one-way contract.

Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported that Rathborne put pen to paper on a two-year deal at an $850K average annual value.

Rathbone was the 95th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft and has 17 NHL games under the belt with the Canucks.

The 23-year-old notched 40 points (10 goals, 30 assists) in 39 games for AHL Abbotsford this past season.
